Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Computer Systems Analyst with over 6 years of experience in the Information Technology sector, particularly within the Banking and Insurance industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong skill set in analyzing functional data, conducting testing, and providing end-to-end solutions to complex business challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and evaluate computer systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document functional requirements.
- Conduct functional testing and validate test results for new systems.
- Prepare and manage test data to ensure accurate information processing.
- Troubleshoot issues in newly developed software and recommend solutions.
- Evaluate software performance and prepare detailed instruction manuals for users.
- Prepare test reports and defect reports for management.
- Utilize Agile and Scrum methodologies in project execution.
- Use test management and defect tracking tools such as HP ALM and JIRA.
- Perform extensive systems testing, functional testing, integration testing, and regression testing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience as a Computer Systems Analyst, preferably in the Banking and Insurance sector.
- Expertise in software testing methodologies and tools (e.g., Selenium, HP ALM, JIRA).
- Strong knowledge of Agile and Scrum practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, conflict-resolution, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in various testing types: UAT, SIT, Smoke Testing, and Regression Testing.
- Familiarity with web services testing (API), SQL, and database management systems.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
Certifications (preferred):
- Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance.
